NYACK, NY – Modern Druid today announced the launch of DruidFest, a new land-based cultural festival, which will debut on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Nyack, New York.
Created by local Hudson Valley entrepreneur Morgana Brennan, the festival invites attendees into a day-long journey of art, music, ecological education, ritual, and community connection—rooted in the enduring elements of 'land, sea, and sky'. Tickets are available at DruidFest.com.
DruidFest is designed as a multi-site experience that moves participants from Nyack Village into the natural landscape of Nyack Beach State Park.
Check in begins at 10:00am at Modern Druid, 60 S Broadway, Nyack, NY, 10960. A portion of proceeds, along with permitting support, contributes directly to the stewardship of the Park.
Schedule
The day is organized around three movements, a triple spiral of connection to our natural world and community:
· The Threshold – Modern Druid
This is where you check in for your ticketed experience and begin your Journey. A short walk down the block brings you to The Commons.
· The Commons Vendor Village (Open to All, Ticket Not Required) at Memorial Park
Enjoy vendors, artisans, music throughout the day by DJ Morgana, and community gathering. Open to all to browse and enjoy! Ticket holders will be transported by coach to Nyack Beach State Park from the Vendor Village.
· The Wild Sanctuary (Ticket Holders Only) at Nyack Beach State Park
Here you will be transported up to the plateau (sky) where you will enjoy performances, music, eco-education, hands-on crafts, plant walks and blessings; and down to the healing space of the Boathouse on the River (sea) to interact with a living Alter, enjoy guided meditation and soundbaths and pre-booked healing sessions.
This is a day for curiosity, hope and healing. Guests are encouraged to bring picnics, explore the park’s trails, and experience the day at their own pace.
The festival will conclude with a Fire Dance at 5:30 pm.
DruidFest is guided by principles of accessibility, low-impact transportation, ecological awareness, and reciprocity.
“In these challenging times, DruidFest was created as a way to bring people back into relationship with the land, with each other, and with themselves,” said Morgana Brennan, founder of Modern Druid and creator of DruidFest. “It’s an invitation to step out of the noise and into the presence of what is true (nature), at least for a day.”
